About Jeni

Jeni qualified to be a Tai Chi teacher in 2010. She started teaching Tai Chi as a volunteer when living in Queensland and wanted to support older people in her community with arthritis to stay active. Jeni started running Tai Chi classes for the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House in 2019 and they continue to be extremely popular.

Term 2 Pass: $72.00 (9 classes @ $8.00/class)

Guarantee your place every week in this very popular, low-cost class. These passes will be available to purchase until 12.00 noon on Monday 26 April.

Invest in a Term Pass and pay only $8.00/class. There are 9 classes in Term 2, so a term pass costs $72.00.

This pass covers your attendance for every Tuesday in Term Two from 27 April - 22 June 2021.

If you have a Term Pass and need to miss a class or two, Jeni can offer you up to 2 replacement classes during the term. We prefer if you take your replacement class by joining a Thursday Tai Chi class with Jeni during Term 2. If this is not possible, please discuss your options with Jeni.

If you know that you will be missing a class, please let Jeni or the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House staff know so that we can make spaces available to people purchasing tickets one class at a time. You can contact the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House via the contact details below.

If you would like to use this option, but need help with access to or using the online booking system, please contact the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House staff on 0422 612 052 or email us at reception@ballarateastnh.org.au and we will help you out.

Individual Class Pass: $10.00/class online

This is the option for you if you need more flexibility and are not able to commit to the whole term. Individual Class Passes will go on sale on Friday 23 April.

You can purchase individual classes online up to midday the day before the class. Each class purchased this way will cost $10.00.

If you would like to use this option, but need help with access to or using the online booking system, please contact the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House staff on 0422 612 052 or email us at reception@ballarateastnh.org.au and we will help you out.

Individual Class Pass: $12.00/class cash on the day

If online payment is not for you, there is still a cash option.

Although we prefer classes to be purchased before the day through the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House staff, we understand that this won't work for everyone. So there is still a cash option - you can purchase an individual class on the day with cash only - if there are spaces available. Each class purchased this way will cost $12.00. Please arrive at Eureka Hall with exactly $12.00 (Jeni does not have change), 10 minutes before the class so that you can complete your paperwork with Jeni.

Please note that as there is a limit of 20 people allowed in the space, those who have term passes and who have purchased their ticket online before the class, will have priority entry.

Need a hand with booking online?

Please call Ballarat East Neighbourhood House on 0422 612 052 or email us at reception@ballarateastnh.org.au. We are very happy to find a solution that will work as we want everyone interested to be able to attend this fantastic class. We are also happy to take cash payments for term passes, but these will need to be done in person at the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House staff office, Barkly Square, 25-39 Barkly Street, Ballarat East. Please contact us before your visit to make an appointment. We are open during school term from Tuesday to Friday from 9.00 am - 5.00 pm. We are closed on Mondays and during school holidays.
